COLLABORATIVE INSTITUTIONS

MP BHOJ (Open) University, Bhopal and RCI will make joint efforts in promoting and implementing educational programmes for the empowerment of special target group of learners with disabilities.

The MP BHOJ will collaborate with RCI in programme design and development in multimedia distance mode for the special education programmes and will facilitate delivery and certification of such programmes.

RCI recognizes MP BHOJ as National Resource Centre for Special Education and Rehabilitation Programmes through Distance mode. RCI will also extend technical expertise to the MP BHOJ and Study Centres.

RCI- IGNOU

• RCI in collaboration with IGNOU in a process of launching 6 months certificate courses for Parents and Care Providers of Children with Disabilities.
  
  
• IGNOU and RCI jointly prepared a broad annual schedule of topics and programme to be delivered in video-conference on Gyan Darshan TV Channel and Gyan Vani FM Radio network.

Collaboration with NIC

To make the RCI system more reliable, faster and consistent, it has made collaboration from NIC (National Information Center- Under the Ministry of Information and Technology). This organization provides the services related to the LAN and WAN networks, Software development and Website Production.

A road map for IT Plan implementation is proposed herewith, which is to be pursued by the council after ascertaining priorities and by assigning specific physical targets and financial commitments. The proposed IT plan encompasses the various activities undertaken by the council to be implemented in two phases.

Proposed Activities : PHASE- I

1. Setting up of WAN connectivity for the Council.
2. Setting up of LAN.
3. WEB Database on Professionals.
4. Implementation of Office Procedure Automation software packages for the Council.
5. Office site packages.
6. Development of specific application software packages.
7. Enhancements of existing Website.

Proposed Activities : PHASE- II

1. Development of interactive multimedia CDs.
2. Development of an Expert System.
3. Setting up of Video Conferencing system.
4. Computer networking of Organization and personalities under RCI.
