Impact study of web portal Punarbhava

Rehabilitation Council of India (a statutory body setup by an act of Parliament under Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India) in collaboration with Media Lab Asia (A section 25 company setup by Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India) launched this interactive and informative web portal Punarbhava on Disability and Rehabilitation on March 12, 2008. Web portal Punarbhava adhere to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) that works to make the web accessible to all users, despite differences in ability and physical limitations. The services and information, related to disability and rehabilitation, offered by various government bodies, are spread over hundreds of websites at various levels of navigation hierarchy and many of them remain largely unnoticed. The portal acts as a platform to connect all these services and information in a manner that these are easily accessible and available to the persons with disabilities as well as other stakeholders in field. We intend to conduct an Impact study of web portal to make it more useful and accessible as per feedback of users. You are requested to take part in this study by completing demographic details and questionnaire. The information provided by you will only be used only for research report on Impact study and will not be disclosed. The summary of the report will be uploaded on web portal upon its completion..
